What counts as a reportable incident?
A reportable incident is a serious incident or alleged incident which results in harm to an NDIS participant and occurs in connection with NDIS supports and services.
Support workers will learn the various scenarios where they, or their organisation, would have to report an incident to the NDIS Commission. It also outlines their roles and responsibilities if they witness or are informed of an incident.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify reportable incidents
- Understand how to respond to a reportable incident if you witness or hear about one
- Understand which documents and records you need to keep for reportable incidents
Please note this eLearning has three modules and takes approximately 110 minutes and participants will receive a certificate on successful completion.
