2019 Awards

NDS’s Membership Recognition Awards acknowledge the loyalty, support and contributions of Organisational Members that have reached the milestones of 20, 30, 40 and 50 years of continued NDS membership.

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) is Australia’s largest non-government provider of education, therapy and cochlear implant services for children and adults with vision or hearing loss, their families, and the professionals who support them.

The range of specialist services available at RIDBC is unique in Australia and benefits thousands of children, adults, families and professionals each year.

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children was established in 1860 by Thomas Pattison, a deaf migrant to Australia from Scotland.

Since 1952, Sunnyfield has grown in depth and breadth of support services. Working together with families, friends and dedicated staff, Sunnyfield supports a brighter future for people with disability.

Sunnyfield is a member based, registered not-for-profit charity. Day to day, they deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors. They employ over 1,230 staff in NSW and the ACT, to deliver accommodation services, assistance with daily life, social and community participation, supported employment, skills development, support coordination and clinical services.
