The 2020-21 Tasmanian State Budget is disturbingly quiet on specifics for the disability sector and NDS is seeking clarification on whether disability will be included within several programs.

NDS is disheartened by the lack of acknowledgement for the disability sector in the Government's stated plan of 'supporting jobs in key industry sectors'. We maintain that targeted investment to grow and train the disability workforce is crucial to safely meet the increasing demand for support services.
