NDS has released the preliminary program for the 2023 Executive Leaders Conference, our flagship conference for decision makers and executive teams. This year’s conference, themed ‘Sustainovation: Building sustainable innovation, one wildly creative idea at a time’, is on 11 and 12 December 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year’s speakers include the Co-Chairs of the NDIS Review, Prof Bruce Bonyhady AM and Lisa Paul; the Minister for the NDIS, the Hon. Bill Shorten; and the Shadow Minister for Social Services, Michael Sukhar. The keynote this year will be delivered by Gus Balbontin, former executive at Lonely Planet who knows how to combine sustainability with innovative approaches.
As well as sustainability and innovation, the conference will have sessions and panels on the NDIS review, the recently released Disability Royal Commission Report, and an update from the Quality and Safeguard Commission. The future of disability employment will be discussed and NDS CEO Laurie Leigh will present the 2023 State of the Disability Sector report.
In conjunction with the event this year, NDS is holding our inaugural National Disability Awards to recognise and promote the outstanding achievements of individuals, groups and organisations in the sector. You can register separately on our Awards webpage.
