Member webcast: Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct establishes a number of principles-based standards of behaviour designed to ensure that NDIS participants are treated with respect, receive high quality services and are safe from abuse, neglect and violence.
It is a complaints-activated system which places a premium on provider responsiveness to participant concerns. All NDIS providers â whether registered or unregistered â are required to comply with the Code of Conduct.
While the Code of Conduct is a short document, it is supplemented by extensive guidance notes for both workers and providers. This webcast looks at both the Code and the Guidance notes to help providers understand their obligations under the Code.
