Member webcast: The Practice Standards

NDIS Quality and Safeguarding series: The Practice Standards

Under the new Quality & Safeguarding Framework, most providers will be required to undertake certification by an Approved Quality Auditor against the NDIS Practice Standards. The Standards are the participant-focused outcomes statements which describe the quality of services NDIS participants can expect from registered providers. To achieve these outcomes, the Practice Standards are supplemented by Quality Indicators which itemise organisational practises and standards of behaviour providers are required to demonstrate they meet in the audit process.

This member-exclusive webcast will introduce providers to the Provider Registration and Practice Standards Rule as well as the Quality Indicators Guidelines; outline the major requirements of providers under this new system; and identify some of the major issues providers may encounter as well as tips for how to deal with them.
